Coca-Cola Presents Taking Back Sunday Tour

The "Coca-Cola presents Taking Back Sunday" tour is coming to Atlanta on July 13th and just in time for the band to showcase some of their new tracks (their new album launched this past Tuesday, 6/28). The Atlanta stop also features Thursday and Colour Revolt. Together they make a pretty awesome lineup.

There is also a ‘Coke Secret Soundcheck’ where 10 fans will gain access to an intimate pre-concert three-song set performed by the band. Simply go to this link for the Atlanta show and sign up for the chance to win! The Password is: GEORGIA.

Marlow's Tavern Offers Atlantans a "Taste of America"


From Tuesday, June 14 through Monday, July 25, Atlantans can get a taste of America at Marlow's Tavern with their six-week long “Red, White and Brew” menu.


The “Red, White and Brew” menu includes the following dishes, which are offered daily during the six weeks:

·   Beer and cheese soup - a light beer soup with garlic, thyme, provolone, Swiss and Parmesan served with a ciabatta crisp($6)

  • Firecracker deviled eggs –pimento cheese, applewood smoked bacon, fresh herbs and firecracker sauce ($3/$5)
  • Watermelon, feta and arugula salad –fresh basil, ginger and balsamic glaze ($9)
  • Red, White and Bleu Burger – made with lean ground beef and decorated with red pepper, Vidalia onion and Maytag blue cheese on a toasted sesame brioche bun served with American fries ($11)
  • Backyard blackened swordfish- dusted, grilled, pressed and stacked with baby arugula, citrus aioli, toasted challah and Red, White and Blue Potato Salad ($14)
  • Honey glazed grilled chicken-grilled chicken glazed with honey mustard and Meyer lemon served with loaded Red Bliss potatoes and chili-slathered corn on the cob ($17)
  • Grilled skirt steak-“hot off the grill” tender skirt steak blazed with house made chimichurri, summer squash and jumbo Vidalia onion rings ($19)
  • Chili slathered corn on the cob – secret seasoning, chili butter and fresh parsley ($3)

The Summer Stroll On The Mile is This Weekend and is one of my favorite events in Midtown! This event is so kid friendly and great for families to spend the day together exploring the Midtown Mile! There is something for everyone on this "Summer Stroll"

Fun for Kids
Walk from Woodruff Arts Center to the Fox Theatre and discover fun activities along the way!
 
At Colony Square:
  • Bring the family to the Kids' Village with a bounce house, face painting, a magician and a juggler (Saturday & Sunday, 12 - 4 pm)
At the Arts District Plaza (15th + Peachtree):
  • Serenbe Playhouse performances and "Ugly Duckling" face painting (Sunday, 12 - 2 pm)
  • Ice cream samples & demos by Spice Market (Sunday, 12 - 4 pm)
At 12th & Midtown:
  • Everyone loves King of Pops! Pick up a hand crafted popsicle in front of CB2
