Midtown Review: Cafe & Pizzeria Nonna Mia
Friday, April 16, 2010
I decided to order a pizza today for lunch since I need something good to soak up those couple drinks I had last night that aren't sitting too well in my stomach. I didn't want to order from your traditional Domino's or Papa Johns, and I wanted something with lots of fresh flavor. I remembered that this Cafe & Pizzeria delivered some pizzas to our office for us to try a while ago and everyone was obsessing over them. So I ordered myself a small italian pizza with pepperoni, ham, italian sausage, prosciutto, pancetta, red onions and mozzarella cheese with tomato sauce. As you can see in the picture, the pizza was stacked with toppings! The thick cut sausage was full of flavor with just that right amount of crisp on the outside. The pizza wasn't overly greasy at all and was incredible. This is a short review since I ordered delivery and never have actually been into the restaurant. But if anyone else has been to the actual restaurant, I would love your insight on what it's like!
