To sum up what I am about to write: AVOID THIS PLACE. I am not going to go into detail about how rude their waitstaff is but it ruined our entire meal. No matter how good their food is, I doubt you want to get yelled at by your waiter when you leave a 15% tip in front of the whole restaurant. The waitstaff is disrespectful and does the bare minimum to serve you. After leaving a 15% tip (even after horrible service), the waiter proceeded to flick me off in the restaurant before yelling at our table. The manager who was standing only 2 feet away also chose to ignore his waiter's actions and never reprimanded him or apologized to our table.
You may look on their Facebook and see great reviews and think I am in the wrong. Well I had a feeling they erase any negative review they may have so I took a screenshot of my review. Sure enough, this morning my post is gone from their Facebook.
I advise you to avoid this place. You will enjoy your meal but the service will ruin it. Avoid bringing friends, family or visitors from out of town because you will be embarrassed by the waiters that you chose a place like this to bring the people you love...unless you like seeing the people you love get yelled at with insults.

Starting Tuesday, February 26, Bantam + Biddy is partnering with Ansley Wine Merchants to host the first in a series of monthly wine tastings. From 6:30 to 7 p.m., Ansley Wine will be pouring six different wines at the restaurant for guests to sample. For the first event, SOHO wines of New Zealand will be poured and include:
· White Label Sauvignon Blanc
· Black Label Sauvignon Blanc
· White Label Pinot Noir
· McQueen Pinot Noir
The cost is $10 per person and includes complimentary appetizers, such as Bantam + Biddy’s signature pastured deviled eggs with bourbon smoked paprika, pimento cheese with veggies and toast and chopped pastured chicken liver with toast. For those who would like to stay for dinner, the fee for the tasting will be applied to their meal. Check out the Center for Puppetry Arts Museum Pass at any Participating Public Library in Georgia
Thanks to a new partnership between the Center for Puppetry Arts and Georgia’s Public Libraries, citizens with valid library cards can check out the Center’s new “Passport to Puppetry” at any participating public library in all 159 Georgia counties.
The “Passport to Puppetry” is valid for up to four free museum admissions—a potential savings of up to $33 per family. Parties with children must include at least one adult. The museum provides educational fun with more than 350 puppets from around the world, highlighting the fact that every civilization on our planet has its own unique form of puppetry tradition. By examining and learning more about the cultural traditions of other countries, one gains a greater understanding of our shared histories and values.
“We strive to be accessible to anyone who wishes to avail themselves of our programming and welcome this opportunity to partner with the Georgia Public Library Service,” said Vincent Anthony, the Center’s founding Executive Director. “Whether you’re an elementary, high, or college student; parent, toddler, or senior citizen, we endeavor to provide access to many different activities thereby gaining a greater understanding of our shared cultural heritage. After a visit, we hope that you understand that puppetry is not just for kids: it's for everyone.”
The museum at the Center for Puppetry Arts is open Tuesdays through Sundays with hours varying upon day and programming. In addition to four free admissions, the “Passport to Puppetry” also entitles library patrons to attend a performance at the Center and/or participate in a Create-a-Puppet Workshop at a 25% discount, when space is available. Atlanta’s favorite neighborhood restaurant, Marlow’s Tavern, is bringing NOLA to ATL with its annual “Bayou ‘n Bourbon” menu full of cuisine from the Deep South. Starting on Tuesday, February 12 through Monday, March 25, all Atlanta-area tavern locations are featuring the menu full of jazzed up dishes and classic cocktails that will take diners taste buds on a trip to the Big Easy.
“The flavors of New Orleans are distinct and irresistible, much like the chef-driven food and hand-crafted cocktails found on our everyday menu,” says John C. Metz, executive chef and co-founder of Marlow’s Tavern. “We want our guests to experience Louisiana cooking with a Marlow’s twist,” he adds.
The “Bayou ‘n Bourbon” menu includes the following dishes which are offered daily for lunch and dinner through the next six weeks:
· Roast chicken and shrimp gumbo - a Louisiana tradition with a Marlow’s twist (6.5)
- Fiery crawfish fondue – a rich, creamy blend of crawfish, Gruyere cheese, fresh herbs and spices served with ciabatta crostini (9)
- Honey Jack chicken and Andouille flatbread – blackened Prestige Farms chicken, spicy andouille sausage, caramelized red onion and pepper jack cheese with sweet and spicy Honey Jack on crisp flatbread (9.5)
