Weekend In Midtown Atlanta: 3.4.10-3.7.10

Thursday, March 4, 2010

A couple of great events are happening this weekend in Midtown! Starting off tonight Hob Nob on the corner of Monroe and Piedmont will be opening! Also Park Tavern will be hosting a St Patrick's pre-game event on Saturday which includes green beer!

Read the full review of these events on Citysearch by the one and only Mr. Jonathon Baker!

Tonight - Thursday March, 4th
We can’t seem to get enough of comfortable pubs these days. And with a name like “Hobnob,” we’ve had our eye on this one for months. The menu features pretzels with glorious beer-cheese dip, beer-basted burgers, 420-braised pork shank, milkshakes laced with booze (really)--these guys obviously have their priorities straight. And after-midnight specials like $1 hot dogs? Go early, go late--it’s a win-win.

Saturday March 6th
:::Park Tavern's Shamrock Fest
What’s better than having the excuse to drink on both St. Patrick’s Day and the weekend before? How about partying a week and a half out at Shamrock Fest? And no Atlanta festival is complete these days without Atlanta’s party band champions, the Yacht Rock Revue. Expect the usual arsenal of good-time tunes to dance, drink or make out to, plus green beer and the could-be-freezing but could-be-perfect March Georgia weather.
Go: 7pm. Bring: $10 and your single self.
